The independent sector is enormously important to the success of The National Lottery. It accounts for approximately 40% of sales and 60% of terminals. It has made a huge contribution towards the £19.0 billion raised for Good Causes through National Lottery ticket sales to date – and this has benefited over 237,000 projects across the UK in the biggest programme of civic and social regeneration since the 19th Century. Therefore through the sponsorship of the RSA, Camelot is confirming its continued dedication to the independent sector.
